James 3

James 3: Heavenly Wisdom is Pure

James explains that we need to govern our tongue unto perfection, because our tongue is “…full of deadly poison.” (James 2:8) But James encourages us to do good and have faith in God so that “Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these ought not so to be.” (James 2:10)

James then explains that “…the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” (James 3:17) Therefore, things that are of God are full of good fruits.
